CAPE CRUSHER (Helles Light Lager)

Another beer in our ‘Heritage Series’! A crisp Light lager brewed using 100% imported German ingredients. This beer is inspired by our time while studying brewing sciences at the Doemens Academy in Munich, Germany. A Helles is a traditional German Pale Light Lager. This “bier” is full-bodied, mildly sweet, light-colored, with lower amounts of perceived bitterness, making it the perfect beer to “crush” at your favorite places on Cape Cod.

K-DUB (Kristallweissbier)

This “bier” is a result of bringing a bottle of a German hefeweizen from a 900-year-old monastery brewery back to Cape Cod and propagating the yeast in our QA/QC lab. Using that yeast, 100% imported Bavarian wheat/malts, and water treatment to match the style, you will quickly understand why we went through the trouble.

The golden straw color is a result of filtering this traditional Hefeweizen to make it a “Kristallweissbier”. Aromatic notes of subtle banana and esters with a crisp mouth-feel will have you asking for another. Prost!

RASPERRY K-DUB (FRUIT BEER)

A harmonious marriage of a German Wheat Beer and raspberries. The key attributes of our Kristallweissbier create the base for this fruit ale. Fermenting this “bier” over red raspberries provides additional fermentable sugars for the yeast to consume, resulting in more alcohol, a slightly sweet finish, and a beautiful fruit aroma. Pouring from the taps with a pink hue and a balanced carbonation profile. Prost!

BLUEBERRY ALE (Fruit Beer)

ABV: 5.3%
SRM: 8.3
IBU: 10.2

A refreshing light fruit ale fermented with frozen Blueberries from Maine and hopped with Northwest US hops. Floral and berry aromas, with just enough bitterness and biscuit malt back bone that makes this beer refreshing and crisp.

AMERIHOP (American Pale Ale)

ABV: 5.5%
SRM: 3.6
IBU: 13.6

To say this beer is incredibly balanced would be an understatement. It is pouring out of our taps with a yellow hue and a creamy, white foam head. We pick up a light floral aroma with a hint of citrus thanks to 100% American hops sourced from the Pacific Northwest. Faint late bitterness is in pleasant equilibrium with a sweet malt backbone.

EXAMEN #23 (New England IPA)

ABV: 6.5%
SRM: 3.7
IBU: 37

Continuing the “Examen” series, our rotating New England IPA! This version features two new hops from our Hop-farmer friends in Michigan. Utilizing a double-dry-hop schedule, we get Aromatic notes that include up front essences of fruit candy and peach. This beer finishes with a subtle balance of citrus, grapefruit and melon. As always, this Examen pours with a lasting hazy appearance. Enjoy!

COFFEE VANILLA MILKSHAKE (Milkshake IPA)

ABV: 7.5%

It’s Baaaaaaack! Continuing the “Milkshake IPA Series”! Building on top of our hazy, New England IPAs, we tweaked the recipe with the goal of dialing down the extracted bitterness, increase hop-derived tropical fruit aroma, soften the mouth-feel, and add an overall subtle sweetness to the final product. This rotating IPA series will feature different types of brewing additions. 

Bringing back our second version in this rotating series: our Coffee Vanilla Milkshake IPA! We mashed with whole, roasted hazelnuts, coffee beans from Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Kenya, brewed with lactose and fermented on top of vanilla beans imported from Mexico and Madagascar. The result of this beer is a soft, sweet IPA with complex aromas of coffee, hazelnut, and sweet vanilla.

DOUBLE EXAMEN #15 (Double New England IPA)

ABV: 8.2%
SRM: 5.8
IBU: 70

Continuing the “Double Examen” series! This is the 15th version of our Double New England IPA. More hops, and more alcohol than the original “Examen” NE IPA Series. We based this recipe off of the same water profile and grist bill as Double Examen #14, which yielded a softer, creamier mouth-feel. To kick this beer up to the next level, we used 100% Southern Hemisphere hops: one from New Zealand and two from Australia. As a result, this beer gives an incredibly soft bitterness to balance out the 8.2% ABV, with large dry hop aromas of stone fruits and lemon. Enjoy! 

SWEET NIGHT (Sweet Stout)

IBU: 10.5

Not a fan of dark beers? Don’t be so sure. This easy-drinking stout features a malt bill that includes flaked oats and roasted barley. We added lactose during the brewing process to give it a smooth, creamy taste.

SWEET NIGHT FOR S’MORES (Sweet Stout)

ABV: 5.7%
SRM: 46.5
IBU: 10.5

What would happen if you crushed up graham crackers and mixed it in with flaked oats and dark roasted barley, and then added a pound of marshmallows on top of our normal lactose addition? You’re about to find out! Our Sweet Night recipe serves as the base for this beer, providing the perfect backbone to allow sweet marshmallow, graham cracker, and chocolate aromas to shine through this beer. It’s a Sweet Night for S’mores. Campfire not included.
